Here are 13 different plastic alternatives. I know that not every company will be able to adopt these outright, or scale each one up, but I would 100% be happier to buy from a company that used these alternatives.
I think the one that sounds the most feasible to me (not an expert) is Mycelium mushroom - I had friends that used to talk about this back in university. Could companies start using this?
What do you think? Should companies be using these plastics right now? I’d be super keen to hear from companies - are there logistical reasons these solutions can’t be adopted yet?
